Angola: Malanje - AfDB announces funds for agro-industrial projects
 
Malanje — The representative of the African Development Bank (AfDB), Septime Martin, announced Wednesday in Malange, the funding of several public and private projects in the field of agro-industry in Angola.
 
Speaking at the end of the meeting with the governor of the northern Malanje, Norberto dos Santos, the AfDB representative said he was quite impressed with the agricultural potential of the province.
 
The official said that several sectors have been identified to finance, but there is still much work to know the specific areas where the AfDB could pay more attention.
 
Septime Martin stated that the African Development Bank will help Malanje government to create all the necessary conditions to attract the private sector.
 
He stated that the AfDB has already financed three projects in agriculture, artisan and commercial fisheries that are underway in the provinces of Huambo, Bengo and Benguela, as part of the promotion of regional integration of Angola, Zambia and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).

Agricultural Research Station, the laboratory of veterinary testing and fish farming centre, located in the neighborhood of Camibafo in this town.
