Dear Ambassador,

No Ethiopian who is supporter or opponent of your regime would like to see famine in Ethiopia. Your statement of no famine hit Ethiopia since 1984 is purely political and totally absurd because famine has hit Ethiopia repeatedly during the last 18 years of your administration period and it is a fact not a fiction. No body accused you to deliberately cause the famine but not enough has been done to alleviate the situation.

As to creation of job investment by foreigners, etc. Yes investors want to invest in Ethiopia. But at what cost? Ethiopia is predominantly agriculture based economy society. Don't tell me the Saudis grow food in Ethiopia to feed Ethiopians. Here is the conflict. Food shortage and famine is still rampant in today's Ethiopia. The rich Saudi can buy food from any where in the world why should they grow food on a land that can't sustain its own inhabitants is a suspect by itself.

Considering shortsightedness of your regime every citizen have the right to ask what you are doing on the lands and properties of Ethiopia especially when you sign agreement with other countries.

Would a shortsighted regime of Ethiopia agreement with other nations compromise the national integrity of Ethiopia is the issue at hand. For the sake of few jobs you don't sell your freedom man?

Let me remind you what Italian plan was when it came to Ethiopia. A rail road connecting Eritrea with Somalia. So many roads connecting many parts of Ethiopia. Agriculture in all sectors that include coffee production, irrigation, modern cattle production etc.. Our fathers asked at what cost? Freedom will be gone. That resulted in the battles of both Adowa and Michew.

Looking at your photo one can say you are doing fine no trace of famine. That is not the case with millions of Ethiopians.

I have to list few key issues done by your regime over Ethiopia that make the regime suspect of shortsightedness.

1) Your regime from day one installed a constitution that kill nationalism of Ethiopian and promote fragmentation and secessions so whatever step you guys take we question your motive.
2) Your regime give away very important and resources connected to the national interest of Ethiopia such as giving away of sea port Asab and willing to pay like 700 million dollars for port dues every year. Wow you should keep an eye on such government because what is next? heaven knows.

Dear ambassador, Ethiopians saying this "Aye bere hoy Aye bere hoy sarun ayehina gedelun satay". You are talking about few jobs from jemalas we are talking about the sovereignty and national integrity of Ethiopia. What is started with rice may follow with some thing irreparable.

Dear ambassador, can't we Ethiopians produce this rice and sell to who ever we want? To do that it needs leadership that is what we don't have. Solution is not giving your land for a contract rather make your people produce.
