The American Forest Foundation announced that it has signed a 15-year contract with Netflix, with the entertainment giant committing to purchase verified carbon credits produced through AFF’s carbon project aimed at transitioning underused fields in the US South into forests.
The agreement involves Qatar securing and irrigating farmlands in Ghana, allocating them to farmers for large-scale cultivation, and subsequently purchasing the produce for export to Qatar.
