Indonesian beef plan sparks foreign investment debate
A move by the Indonesian government to breed beef on Australian soil for its local market has reignited the foreign ownership debate. Australian graziers say the plan to buy one million hectares of land for beef production would be welcome with the right restrictions in place. But National's MP Barnaby Joyce is wary about the plan.
