"Food security" is the great buzz phrase. But does it make sense?
What do people mean when they talk about "food security"? When the UN's Food and Agriculture Organisation tried to define the term, it came across 200 different definitions. In the end, it defined it as a situation when "all people, at all times, have physical, social and economic access to sufficient, safe and nutritious food". In other words, when nobody's hungry.
