Italian agro-industrial group BF Spa and the Government of the Republic of Congo have signed a framework agreement that provides for the creation of an agro-industrial project on a surface of 10 thousand hectares in the Dolisie area, specifically in Malolo.

L’Algeria ha annunciato il perfezionamento dell’accordo con il gruppo italiano Bf Spa per una concessione quarantennale, rinnovabile, finalizzata alla realizzazione di un progetto agricolo integrato del valore di 420 milioni di dollari.
The Italian agricultural group Bf Spa, in partnership with the Algerian National Investment Fund (Fni), is launching this high-tech regenerative farming initiative that will initially cultivate 3,000 hectares of durum wheat, with plans to expand to 10,000 hectares of dried legumes.
The pair will turn 36k hectares of land in the town of Timimoun in south central Algeria into a productive agricultural field to grow wheat, beans, and other crops, while 49% of the funding will come from Algeria’s investment fund and BF will provide the remaining funds.
Bonifiche Ferraresi, one of the largest agricultural companies by cultivated area in Europe, acquires a 1,700 ha banana plantation in the Volta River region and another concession of 5,900 hectares for further cultivation.
