Sudan's Minister of Agriculture met with the Chinese Ambassador to Sudan to provide reassurance that land will be provided for Chinese agricultural projects.

Sudan reaffirms commitment to provide land for agricultural investment

Khartoum - Minister of Agriculture, Eng. Ibrahim Mahmoud Hamid confirmed during his meeting with China's ambassador to Khartoum, the Sudanese government's commitment to providing land for agricultural investment and its interest in cooperating with China.

The meeting discussed the terms of the agreed upon strategic agricultural cooperation, the programme of agricultural information systems and the introduction of laws and regulations to protect investments.

The Chinese ambassador affirmed China's approval of the implementation of joint programmes and projects to achieve sustainable development.
