(Note: the purchaser is Thailand's BioMatLink Co., Ltd. It had previously acquired 50% of HLH Group's Cambodian agriculture business, which includes a 10,000 ha cassava plantation in Aoral District, Kampong Speu Province.)

SGX-listed Hong Lai Huat Group Limited has completed the sale of its entire agriculture business in Cambodia.

HLH Agri International Pte Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the group, received the final $1.3m (US$1m) payment from the buyer for HLH Agriculture (Cambodia) Co., Ltd. (HLHA) on 5 March.

With this payment, the group has received the full $47.9m (US$37.5m) for the sales of HLHI (Cambodia) Company Limited and HLHA, officially ending its involvement in Cambodia’s agriculture sector.
