Farmers urge Okomu Plc to implement and full compensation
 
Some farmers in Odighi, Ovia North East, Oke Uhumwurde local government area, and Uhiere in Owan East have called on the Federal and Edo State Government to prevail on Okomu Oil Palm PLC to complete the compensation for lands acquired for its plantations in their communities.
 
The farmers made the demand during the Environmental Rights Action media tour of some communities hosting Okomu Oil Palm Plantation as part of the field work on the Round-table on sustainable Palm Oil Certification Compliance.
