An agro-industrial cluster of meat and dairy with participation of the Chinese company DELMOR is being created in the Jizzakh region, Norma reports.

The project is estimated at $100 million, 25% of them are funds from the Chinese investor, 5% will be invested by the LLC “Jizzax organic” and 70% – loans from international financial institutions. The total production capacity – 2,500 tons of meat per year, livestock – 10,000 heads of cattle.

In the Zamin and Zarbdar districts of the Jizzakh region, 10,775 hectares of land (8,964 hectare of which are irrigated) are allocated for the project. A modern cattle-breeding complex will be built here with its own feed production center, a slaughterhouse and biogas plants.
