From threat to opportunity? Problems with the idea of a “code of conduct” for land-grabbing

Yale Human Rights & Development Law Journal | April 2010 by Jennifer Franco and Jun Borras The dominant storyline of land-grabbing as a threat is ceding ground to a new story line promoted, amongst other, by the World Bank—that of the new land deals as a potential opportunity for rural development.
