Minimum land use period to be 15 years in Ukraine - Agricultural Policy and Food Ministry
This decision was agreed at a meeting on the draft law "On Agricultural Land Turnover" under the chairmanship of Deputy Agrarian Policy and Food Minister Ivan Bisiuk, the ministry's press service reported to Ukrinform.
"We have created a working group to prepare a draft law "On Agricultural Land Turnover" and we invited to a discussion representatives of the Economic Development and Trade Ministry, Finance Ministry, State Agency of Land Resources, Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine, National Academy of Agricultural Sciences of Ukraine, Federation of Employers of Ukraine, specialized non-governmental organizations and people's deputies. At the moment, we have received their comments, and after discussing the draft law will be finalized. In case of removal of differences, the document will be submitted to consideration of the Cabinet of Ministers," he said.
During the conciliation meeting, the participants discussed a number of principled issues of this draft law. With regard to the circle of farmland buyers, it is proposed to include into the list only the state, territorial communities, the Land Bank and citizens of Ukraine. The second position is establishing clear conditions for the citizens, who are buyers of farmlands. And the third concerns publicity of buyers and sellers of land plots.
