In 2008 at the height of Cambodia’s economic land concession programme, the Luxembourg-based Socfin group secured 12,000 hectares of land in Mondulkiri province. Reports of land grabbing and land conflicts, prompted a halt to the Cambodia’s concession programme. Despite this, Socfin’s plantation remains operational. Powerful glimpse into the communities' 15-year struggle, resistance and resilience to get their land back.
